The selenium drum is the core of the optical printer. Like the engine of a car, it is mainly made of electro photosensitive semi mannan. Its working principle is the process of "photoelectric conversion". Photosensitive semiconductor not only has the common characteristics of common semiconductor, such as thermal excitation, change of resistivity after doping, but also has photoconductive characteristics.
